All Summer School Staff are paid bi-weekly, by direct deposit, one week in arrears, according to the following schedule which also outlines the dates each pay period covers:
This pay period includes all US Summer School (BR and NY) and Young Learner Programs (FLL) training days (including Senior Staff training dates) and starts Monday, June 17th and includes all days worked, up to and including Friday, June 28th.
This pay period starts Saturday, June 29th and includes all days worked, up to and including Friday, July 12th.
This pay period starts Saturday, July 13th and includes all days worked, up to and including Friday July 26th.
This pay period starts Saturday, July 27th and includes all days worked, up to and including Friday August 9th.
This pay period starts Saturday, August 10th and includes all days worked, up to and including Friday August 23rd.
This pay period starts Saturday August 24th and includes all days worked, up to and including Friday September 6th.
You will find detailed and up-to-date salary information in the Offer of Employment Letter. Your salary is made up of a gross basic amount, minus board and lodging (if applicable) plus any qualifying points you achieve, plus any relevant bonuses and training pay.
Early Sign-up Bonus – USD100
All returning staff are offered the opportunity to sign-up for the summer of 2019 and if they did so within the given time frame qualify for a USD100 bonus payable in the first pay check.
Training Pay – USD50 per Training Day
All staff will be required to attend training. The number of days training will depend on the position you have been employed for. Training Pay is not salaried and Training is paid at a rate of USD50 regardless of your position. Closing down the school will be paid as a training day.
All bonuses are payable upon successful completion of an employee’s employment agreement.
Employment Agreement Completion Bonus – USD20 per week
Available to all staff, payable in your last pay check. This means that in order to receive the employment agreement completion bonus you must work until the last date stated in your employment agreement.
Available to all returning staff, payable in the last pay check.
Referral Bonus – USD50 per referral
Available to all returning staff, who successfully refer a new staff member to LAL Summer Schools US, payable in the last pay check. Successfully means a staff member that completes their service as indicated in the employment agreement.
